Ceramic walling

See PDF Ceramic walling

Tile. This is the name typically used for high porousness tiles. They are compressed, fired-on and glazed (if the are monofired-on) and fired-on again (if they are bifired-on.) They are used for wall tiling in houses, buildings, factories and so on. They can be made of red clay (red body) or white clay (white body) and glazed in any colour or design. The most modern ones are printed with digital printing technology. They are normally square or rectangular allowing different positioning according to the architects' wishes or to the characteristics of the house.

If they are glued with basic adhesives they are not recquired to be soaked in water previously.
